Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S might release with a 5G version. If you thought that this previous year’s Redmi Note 11 lineup isn’t confusing enough, you should wait until Xiaomi introduces a new variant of the family, reportedly named Redmi Note 11S. 

The information is from Xiaomiui, who discovered one entry from the IMEI database. The information that was revealed was the number of model K16B which is similar to K16A that is associated with the new Poco M4Pro and that of the Redmi Note 11 5G (for China).

It is true that this Poco M4 Pro 5G is Rebranded Note 11 5G for the international market. At present, the only 5G-capable Redmi Note 11 is the Note 11 Pro 5G so making a lower-cost version that is marketed to the global market is logical. 

We think that as the Note 11S 5G will be running the same platform as the other devices it will include one of Dimensity 810. We shouldn’t have to guess for long considering that this Redmi Note 11S is already in into the IMEI database and is close to launching.
