Xiaomi Redmi K40 series coming next month with SD888
We know that Qualcomm had launched the high efficient Snapdragon 888 chipset. Now the smartphone makers are introducing their new smartphones with this chipset. Xiaomi already released a smartphone with Snapdragon 888 chipset. Now, Redmi will soon get its own Snapdragon 888 powered device with the launch of the upcoming K40 lineup. The Snapdragon 888 chipset powered phone will be the Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro. Redmi GM Lu Weibing took to Weibo to reveal some of the key specs for the K40 series.
We are expecting a flat display on the Redmi K40 but it is so expensive. So, we are not sure about this. Based on previous rumors, all K40 series phones will come with high refresh rate screens. But we don’t know which type of display will be used on it.

According to Lu Weibing’s post, the battery will be larger than 4000mAh.Previous leaks suggested 33W fast wired charging. Lastly, the Snapdragon 888 powered Redmi K40 will launch for CNY 2,999 in China which equals about $463.
