Xiaomi introduces new “T” models every fall, representing high-end devices just below the flagship level. Last year, they unveiled the 13T and 13T Pro. This year, we anticipate the release of the 14T and 14T Pro.
Xiaomi 14T series leaked specifications
Today, a fresh leak reveals info about the two new devices. We’ll begin with the Pro. It’s rumored to be modeled after the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra for China. However, it won’t just be a copy; the 14T Pro will get some improvements over its base model.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC will power both devices. The 14T Pro introduces wireless charging and a telephoto camera, features absent in the K70 Ultra, which opts for a macro cam instead. Leica co-branding continues in the 14T Pro, while the Redmi counterpart maintains a lower price by omitting it.
Both the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will be available in Europe, Japan, and other markets excluding India. Distribution remains consistent, with Softbank offering the duo in Japan.
The Xiaomi 14T is expected to feature a Dimensity 8000 series SoC, akin to its predecessor, the 13T. The primary difference lies in charging speeds – the Pro model boasts 120W, while the standard version settles for 67W. The 14T might skip wireless charging to differentiate the Pro variant.
