Xiaomi 13 Pro to match 12S Ultra’s primary camera. The month of December is close to the mark, so Xiaomi is about to unveil its next major series. Naturally, rumours start to surface, and the most recent one concerns Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Xiaomi 13 Pro and most of its specifications. The most intriguing thing in this report is the camera configuration. It is still possible to expect the triple 50MP camera setup on the back, but this time the primary sensor will be sourced from Xiaomi 12S Ultra – a 1″ Sony IMX989, 50MP sensor.

Sony and Xiaomi co-developed the sensor, and the R&D cost was $13 million, but it also provided the highest quality and lightness, which is difficult to match. The other specifications are pretty similar to Xiaomi 12 Pro. Xiaomi 12 Pro, however.
This includes those of the Surge C2 ISP, the Surge P2 custom chip for charging, and Leica’s Color Science. Of course, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will play a role in the overall design.
