Vivo Y78 Plus launch with Snapdragon 695 and more features
Vivo Y78 Plus launch with Snapdragon 695 and more features. Vivo’s new Y78+ boasts a big screen, battery, and low price. The 8/128GB model will cost CNY 1,600 (about $230, €210, or 19,000) in China on April 26. CNY 1,800 (8GB/256GB) and CNY 2,000 (12GB/256GB) models are available.
The vivo Y78 Plus‘s main selling feature is its 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (20:9) resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage (105% NTSC), and superb colour rendering. At 1,300 nits, the brightest is remarkable. High-end goods have curved displays and fingerprint scanners.

The 44W charging 5,000mAh battery was also addressed. The Bluetooth 5.1 modem supports aptX HD/Adaptive and LDAC, and the USB-C connection may be utilised for headphones. The Snapdragon 695 chipset’s hefty pricing will likely draw the most significant criticism.
Vivo Y78 Plus Specification
Vivo’s 695 has 128 or 256GB of UFS 2.2 memory (no microSD slot) and 8 or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, but it’s slowing down. Android 13-based OriginOS 3 supports virtual RAM up to 8GB. The 50MP primary sensor on the rear (f/1.8 lens with OIS) is standard.
However, the chipset only supports 1080p video with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The notch houses an 8-megapixel (f/2.0) front-facing camera. Three colours—blue, yellow, and black—have a slight gradient effect on the vivo Y78+. No non-plus Y78 exists.
