Vivo Y200i 5G launching on 20 April in China, check the design, specification, and pricing
Vivo just confirmed when they’re releasing their new Y200i 5G phone: April 20th in China. But even before the official launch, the Y200i has popped up on China Telecom’s site, spilling all the details.
Also, Vivo teased the phone’s design and colors today. They’ll offer it in Glacier White, Starry Night Black, and Haohai Blue, according to the official poster.

Display, Design, and camera
This device features a big 6.72-inch IPS LCD with a punch-hole design housing the 8MP front camera. While it confirms a Full HD+ resolution, details about a high refresh rate are not yet known.
The phone has flat edges and a circular camera setup on the back, which holds two cameras (a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera) and an LED flash. The fingerprint sensor sits on the side.
Processor and RAM
Inside, the Y200i 5G runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, with OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
For memory, you get three options: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and a top-tier choice of 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.
Battery
It has a huge 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The phone also has an IP64 rating for durability.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo Y200i 5G has three versions. The first one, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at about 1,299 CNY (roughly USD 180). The second version, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is expected to be around 1,599 CNY (approximately USD 220). Finally, the highest-tier model, with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, may cost approximately 1,799 CNY (about USD 250).
