Vivo V50 looks almost identical to the vivo S20 in Design, New Details Emerged by NCC
The vivo V50 has been revealed in detailed photos by the NCC, showcasing its design, charger, and battery. Interestingly, the vivo V50 looks almost identical to the vivo S20, which launched in China last November.
NCC Reveals Vivo V50 Dimensions and Display Size
The NCC images indicate that the vivo V50 measures 160mm tall and 74mm wide. These dimensions are the same as the vivo S20. This suggests the device could feature the same 6.67-inch display.
Battery Capacity and Charging Speed of vivo V50
The vivo V50 has a 6,000mAh typical battery capacity, lower than the vivo S20’s 6,500mAh battery. However, the V50 supports 90W fast charging with its 11V at 8.2A charger. A USB-A to USB-C cable was also included in the photos.
Camera Features on vivo V50
The NCC photos reveal two rear camera lenses on the vivo V50. If these match the vivo S20, they will include:
- A 50MP main camera with OIS
- An 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 106° field of view
The front camera appears to be a 50MP punch-hole sensor.
Vivo V50 Expected Launch Timeline
There is no official launch date yet for the vivo V50 series. However, considering past releases, the vivo V50 could debut within the next few weeks. The vivo V30 was launched in February 2024, followed by the V40 in June.
The vivo V50 shares its design with the vivo S20 but offers a smaller battery. It supports 90W charging, promising fast recharges. With its premium cameras and sleek design, the vivo V50 could be a strong addition to the vivo lineup.
