Vivo V40 Pro receives NBTC certification ahead of imminent launch

In March, Vivo launched the V40 SE in Europe. Now, another member of the family is on the way: the Vivo V40 Pro. The V40 Pro was found in Thailand’s NBTC certification database with the model number V2347, confirming its imminent release there.

The Vivo V40 Pro also appeared on EE’s website in the UK, indicating an upcoming launch in Europe and the UK. Rumor suggests that the V40 Pro might be a rebranded S19 Pro, which debuted in China last month.

If these rumors hold true, the Vivo V40 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen. This screen will offer 4,500-nit peak brightness and a 1260×2800 resolution. The phone will boast a triple rear camera system, including a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. Additionally, it will have a 50 MP selfie camera with autofocus.

Powering the Vivo V40 Pro will be MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ SoC, combined with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM, and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The device will run Android 14 out of the box, with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 layered on top. Its 5,500 mAh battery will support 80W fast wired charging.

The Vivo V40 Pro is set to make a significant impact in the European and UK markets. Stay tuned for its official launch and availability.
