Tecno Pop 5X debuts with Android 10 Go, Unisoc chipset. There’s always room to add another budget-friendly smartphone. At least, this is the way Tecno believed. The Transsion brand has launched the Pop 5X smartphone in Mexico equipped with a quad-core CPU, Android 10 Go and a 4,000mAh battery. The front of the phone is presented with a 6.5″ HD display with a 5MP camera set on a waterdrop-like notch.
Tecno doesn’t reveal the specific chipset, but it could be a rebranding of iTel Vision 1Pro (another product made by Transsion) and, from the specs page, we can find it powered by an Unisoc SC9832E. The RAM is 2GB, while the storage is 32GB.

However, it is possible to expand this via microSD cards. The back of the 5X comes with an 8MP camera as the main one, as well as two QVGA cameras that we think are only a small amount of use. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the camera’s island. The phone is available for MXN2,000or, around $115. It’s already sold out in a few physical stores within the Latin American country.
