Tecno Camon 30 5G series receives BIS certification, soon to launch in India
Tecno revealed the Tecno Camon 30 series at MWC 2024 last month. The Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G recently received BIS certification, suggesting they will soon launch in India. Specific availability dates remain undisclosed, but Tecno intends to make an announcement soon.
The Camon 30 5G flaunts a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a silky 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Dimensity 7020 SoC chip with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Powering it is a hefty 5,000mAh battery supporting rapid 70W charging. For photography, it boasts a 50-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera, along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an AI lens.
As for the Camon 30 Premier 5G, it steps up with an LTPO AMOLED display, boasting an even higher 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it packs a Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. Like its sibling, it sports a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging. The camera setup is more advanced, featuring three 50-megapixel sensors.
Both phones will run on the latest Android 14-based HiOS 14.
