Tecno brings Pova Neo come to India with new Mediatek chipset, more memory. The Tecno Pova Neo is an inexpensive smartphone sold in several West African countries since December. The phone has now expanded to Asia and was recently launched in India with a new Mediatek chipset and more memory.
Tecno has swapped to the Helio P22 for an Helio G25 platform and added 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The local division will provide earbuds free of charge to everyone who purchases an entry-level smartphone. The differences in the Helio P22 and Helio G25 are not that significant – they’re both built on the same 12nm process technology and have the same octa-core CPU, which has eight Cortex A53 cores operating at 2GHz.

The GPU is the same; however, the Helio G25 is slightly better in terms of power efficiency thanks to an optimized design. Tecno claims that RAM can be increased from 6GB to 11GB because of its virtual feature known as MemFusion. In terms of storage, it has an option for micro SD cards, which will allow up to 512GB of additional space for data.
This Pova Neo is offered in India for INR 12,999. The earbuds with the handset come with Tecno Hipods H2 that costs INR1,499 if bought separately. The phone will go on sale on January 22nd at select retailers all over India.
