It’s the 2nd week of April and Samsung has already prepared with its April 2024 security patch update. This update is available for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5. April 2024 security patch rollout details
Samsung has released this month’s security patch for its 2023 foldable phones in Europe. The patch, with firmware versions F731BXXS1CXCK for the Flip 5 and F946BXXS1CXCH for the Fold 5, is small and addresses a few dozen vulnerabilities.
For those outside Europe, the update will arrive shortly in other regions.
This update follows the one for the Galaxy S24, which included performance improvements and is available for download in the US.
To get the April 2024 security patch, go to Settings, then Software Update, and tap Download and Install.
