Samsung will roll out OneUI 5 and Android 13 to the S22 family in October. By October, Samsung plans to roll out the OneUI 5 upgrade for the Galaxy S22 line by the end of October. The announcement came at Samsung’s Developer Conference in 2022. (keynote in the source link).
The software, based on Android 13, includes a slew of improvements and new features, such as enhanced Material You integration, a revamped Dynamic theme, and a new Dynamic lock screen; better widget stacking; multi-user support for the first time on Samsung; new, ingenious multitasking gestures (double swipe from the bottom for quick split-screen and swipe from the top right corner for pop-up view); text recognition in the Gallery; a Privacy Hub; and more.

If released in October, Android 13 would beat the release of OneUI 4 for the Galaxy S21 series by a month and the release of OneUI 3.0 for the Galaxy S20 series by almost a month. Samsung has released OneUI 5 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S22 series, but it is not clear whether this is the final beta or not.
By October, OneUI 5 will roll out to the Galaxy S22 range. However, there will be some regional variances. By the end of the month, Samsung plans to announce the comprehensive distribution schedule for OneUI 5.
