Samsung is pushing One UI 5.1 update in Galaxy F22, F23 5G & M23 5G
Samsung has started to push the One UI 5.1 update to its smartphones. We have seen that Samsung Galaxy A14 5G already got this update. Now Samsung is pushing One UI 5.1 update to the other 3 mid-rangers. Yes, Samsung Galaxy F22 5G, F23 5G & M23 5G have started to get this update. None of them are getting the March 2023 security patch.
One UI 5.1 update
This update is rolling out with the firmware version E225FXXS5CWB2 in Samsung Galaxy F22 5G. This update is rolling out to the Galaxy F23 5G with firmware version E236BXXU2CWC1. Now, this update is available in only south Asian countries for Galaxy F22 5G & F23 5G. The Galaxy M23 5G is getting this update with the firmware version M236BXXU2CWC1. This update is available in Europe and Latin.
How to install
To check and install this update you have to head to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. Now let’s see what the new features are coming through this update.

This update brings the ability to quickly change the selfie color tone from the Camera app. Here, you will also get improved image remastering on Galaxy F23 & M23 5G, EXIF information viewing and editing for images and videos, Shared Family Album, & better search in the gallery app. You can search for images of more than one subject or person simultaneously. You can even tap their faces in an image rather than searching for their names to bring more images of those persons.
Also, there is an easy minimization system for the app’s window. And an easy switching system to full-screen mode by dragging that app’s window corners. When you are switching to the split-screen multitasking mode, the second half of the screen shows frequently opened apps to make the process faster. Here you will get new battery widgets.
The Modes & Routines app now has more options, including the ability to control font style, Quick Share, ringtone, touch sensitivity, and wallpaper settings. The Weather app displays all the important information towards the top, an hourly precipitation graph, and has a new Dynamic Weather widget.
Once you install the One UI 5.1 update on your phone, you can choose where (folder) the screenshots are saved. The Galaxy F22, Galaxy F23, and Galaxy M23 5G will show search suggestions in the Settings app.
You will get access to browsing through Samsung internet when you are connected to a Windows PC using Windows Phone Link and using the PC.
