Samsung Galaxy M22 just gets Android 12 update with One UI 4.1. Samsung has been known to issue consistent software updates for its devices. The Galaxy M22 introduced in October of 2021 began receiving One UI 4.1 in April of 2022, a version so old it no longer carries the most current security patch.

However, due to its low-end specs, it runs a version of One UI that has some features that aren’t available on other Samsung devices with higher end specs. It’s had the same update since it was first introduced back in 2019 with build number M225FVXXU4BFD8. As of May 14, 2022 it is beginning rollout into Saudi Arabia and UAE, with the even simpler build number M225FVX4BFD8 for users within these two countries.
