Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has a glass back and a metal frame design following its predecessor Galaxy A54. It also features a new key island design wherein the power and volume keys are a bit raised from the frame like the Galaxy A35 5G
The Galaxy A55 sports a 6.6-inch centered punch-hole 2340 x 1080 pixels Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Chipset, Storage, and OS
It is powered by the Exynos 1480 SoC and paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. This device runs on Android 14-based One UI 6.1. Samsung pledges to provide OS upgrades for up to four generations and security updates for five years.
Camera
The Galaxy A55 5G features a triple camera setup on the back- a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 12MP ultrawide unit, and a 5MP macro sensor. On the front, it sports a 32MP selfie camera.
Battery, connectivity, and other features
This new device sports a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging. It has an under-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G comes in four colors- Lilac, Lemon, Ice Blue, and Navy. In Europe, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs €480. You can also get it with 256GB storage and either 8GB or 12GB RAM.
