Samsung Galaxy A12 receives price cut of Rs 1,000 in India ahead of its successor’s launch. Samsung Galaxy A12 in India has been offered a price cut of 1,000 rupees in India before its launch on the Galaxy A13 5G that’s set to launch in the coming month.

It will be followed by its predecessor, the Galaxy A33 5G. The A12 was initially priced at 13,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, but the new price is 12999 rupees (via the 91mobiles). It’s also available as a variant of 6GB+128GB that has been reduced by $1,000 and will now cost you Rs 15,499. It is available through the Galaxy A12 currently sells through Samsung’s website, Amazon, and Flipkart but Flipkart isn’t reflecting the updated prices.

Stores in offline stores that have the phone on hand may also change their prices. The Samsung Galaxy A12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V PLS TFT display with a notch that is waterdrop-like. On the Samsung site, the 4GB+64GB version runs on an Exynos 850 processor, while the more powerful 6GB+128GB version has MediaTek G35. Both are similar in terms of performance.

However, the Exynos 850 has an edge in terms of performance, at least according to benchmarks; that’s what the scores seem to suggest. In terms of photography, you’ll get four cameras in the rear, with the top of the hill, a “true” 48MP shooter. The other three include a 5MP ultrawide macro, 2MP, and 2MP depth camera. The phone weighs 205g. It comes with a battery of 5,000mAh and the option of charging at 15W.
