Redmi Turbo 4 Set to Launch This Month with Dimensity 8400
Last month, Redmi unveiled the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro smartphones in China. Reports suggest the brand works on a Turbo-branded phone for its home market. Recently, Redmi General Manager Wang Teng Thomas hinted at the launch of a new device this month on a short video platform, using the keyword “Little Tornado.” This has led to speculation about the release of the Redmi Turbo 4.
Redmi Turbo 4 details we have got so far
“Little Tornado” is reportedly the codename for the Redmi Turbo series. This suggests that the Redmi Turbo 4 will officially debut this month. It will also be the world’s first phone powered by the Dimensity 8400 chipset.
The Dimensity 8400, based on TSMC’s 4nm process, features a Cortex-A725 large-core architecture and a CPU clock speed exceeding 3GHz. It uses the same Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU as the Dimensity 9400. The chipset has scored over 1.7 million on AnTuTu, outperforming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in benchmarks.
Reports indicate that the Redmi Turbo 4 will sport a flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and support 90W fast charging, as revealed by its 3C certification. Pricing may range between 1,500 Yuan (~$205) and 2,000 Yuan (~$275).
Future Turbo Lineup
The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, featuring the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, may launch next year. Globally, the Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro may come as the rebranded Poco X7 and Poco F7, respectively.
The Redmi Turbo 4 comes with the powerful Dimensity 8400 chipset. It is going to raise the bar for mid-range smartphones. With its premium display, fast charging, and competitive pricing, the “Little Tornado” is expected to make waves in the market this month.
