Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is developing a new high-performance smartphone named the Redmi K70 Ultra after launching the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered Redmi Turbo 3 flagship-killer in China. Unlike the Redmi Turbo 3, rumors suggest that the Redmi K70 Ultra will boast a top-of-the-line MediaTek processor.
Redmi K70 Ultra specifications leaked on Weibo
Weibo tipster Experiencemore spilled some important info about the device. They said the Redmi K70 Ultra will have a beefed-up Dimensity 9300+ chipset. This new chip is an upgrade from the one introduced in November 2023. It’s likely to premiere on the upcoming Vivo X100s and X100s Pro models, set to hit China in May.
The report says the device will have a 50-megapixel main camera, along with other cameras like ultra-wide and macro lenses. It will have an OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a dedicated graphics chip, promising great visuals and gaming. Expect 120W fast charging, a metal frame with a glass back, and options for up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The battery will be 5,500mAh.
The K70 Ultra will be in China, while the Xiaomi 14T Pro targets global markets and might offer additional features.
