Redmi A3x, another affordable device launched with Unisoc T603 SoC and 6.71″ LCD
After the February launch of the Redmi A3, Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi A3x. This new model, aimed at both Indian and international markets, was quietly listed on Xiaomi’s global website.
Redmi A3x specifications
The phone boasts a 6.71-inch 720×1650 LCD screen. It offers 500-nit peak brightness and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The Redmi A3x includes an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera for photography. Powering the device is a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 10W wired charging. Note that the power adapter might be sold separately in certain regions.
The Redmi A3x features the Unisoc T603 SoC. Buyers can choose between two variants: one with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and another with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It measures 168.4 x 76.3 x 8.3 mm and comes in three colors: Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Aurora Green.
Additional features of the Redmi A3x include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, dual SIM functionality, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone runs on Android 14 and promises two major Android updates along with three years of security patches.
Compared to the A3, the Redmi A3x differs mainly in its chipset and the maximum RAM capacity, which is 4GB instead of 6 GB. These adjustments are expected to make the Redmi A3x more affordable than its predecessor, the A3.
