Redmi 12 series 3,00,000 units Sold in first sale in India. On August 1, Xiaomi hosted a press conference in New Delhi, India, to launch the Redmi 12 5G and the Redmi 12 4G for the Indian market. Yesterday was the first day of sales for both smartphones in India, which assisted the Chinese company in reaching a milestone of INR 3 billion ($36 million/€32 million) in sales.
In its initial sale yesterday, Xiaomi claimed to have sold 300,000 Redmi 12 series smartphones, although it did not specify how many 4G and 5G variants were. The basic variant of the Redmi 12 5G costs INR11,999 ($145/€130), while the Redmi 12 4G begins at INR9,999 ($120/€110). India’s first smartphone using a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC is the Redmi 12 5G.

This device has a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities and a 6.79″ FullHD+ 90Hz LCD. The smartphone has three cameras: a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 2MP depth camera. On the other hand, the Helio G88 processor powers the Redmi 12 4G.
