Redmi 12 5G gets Geekbench certification with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC in India. Redmi is getting ready to introduce the Redmi 12 in India on August 1, following its global debut earlier this month. It will have a MediaTek Helio G88 CPU and be a 4G smartphone.
A recent leak also suggested that the Redmi 12 will soon be available worldwide in a 5G version. Now that the Redmi 12 5G has surfaced on Geekbench, some of its crucial specs are available. According to the description, the gadget boasts a 2.2GHz octa-core processor paired with an Adreno 613 GPU, and its model number is 23076RN4BI.

This is likely a 5G Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The listing confirms that the phone has 8GB of RAM and powered by the Android 13 operating system. The Redmi 12’s Geekbench results were impressive in terms of performance. It scored 916 on the single-core test and 2,106 on the multi-core test.
Although the listing provides no other details, this a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12R, which introduced in April in China. In a recent article, we spoke about the reports that the Redmi Note 12R will sold in India as the Poco M5 5G and globally as the Redmi 12 5G.
