Realme hints at launching a new event on X, probably the Realme 12 Pro series launch
Realme teased a new announcement on January 3 via its Indian and Indonesian social media accounts at the start of 2024. This suggests a potential confirmation of the Realme 12 Pro series launch date, conveniently just a day before the Redmi Note 13 series launch on January 4 in India.

Realme 12 Pro series specs (what we got so far from rumors)
The Realme 12 Pro series is on the horizon, with certifications already granted for the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ in India and Indonesia, bearing model numbers RMX3840 and RMX3842. The UAE and Malaysia have secured similar approvals, but they have not yet disclosed details on specifications.
Speculations suggest the 12 Pro series may feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a curved-edge OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Rumors suggest that the 12 Pro will feature a 32MP IMX709 telephoto camera providing 2x optical zoom. The 12 Pro+ may have a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Anticipated to launch in China in the first quarter of 2024, the Pro+ variant is estimated to be priced at around 2,000 Yuan (~$282).
