Realme GT Neo3 will have a dedicated chip that boosts frame rate in games

Realme GT Neo3 will have a dedicated chip that boosts frame rate in games. The Realme GT Neo3 will be among the first phones to run on the Dimensity 8100, however, the company’s vice president Xu Qi Chase reveals that there is a second chip to be noted.

The chip will work with Dimensity’s Mali G610 MC6 GPU to provide an unbeatable frame rate and in certain cases, less power consumption. The way it functions is like MEMC motion estimation motion compensation, which captures low-frame video and outputs a higher frame rate, which you’ve probably seen on TVs and phones.

The chip is capable of motion interpolation of up to 120 frames per second, which is enough to get the most of your phone’s high-refresh display. It can help to smooth out games that are more demanding. Below is a video that shows how the Realme GT Neo3 and the graphics processor doing its job.

Genshin Impact is a notoriously demanding game. You can see it running in a non-combat mode on Dimensity 8100 on the top half in the video. The lower section shows the game that has interpolation enabled running at 90 frames per second. The video was recorded at a slower speed to make the distinction more clear.

This is similar to the one iQOO did with its iQOO 9. However, this phone has the Snapdragon of 888+. Realme has been the only company company to achieve this feat using the Dimensity chip. It is also worth noting that it is expected that the Realme GT Neo3 will be the official phone for HoK KPL’s Honor of Kings national competition.

This makes it a more direct rival to iQOO which is the official sponsor for the HoK KPL league. In any case the Dimensity 8100 will come equipped with speedy LPDDR5 as well as UFS 3.1 which means that it will be speedy all around and not just for gaming. We’ve already seen a lot of teasers of the phone as well as its 150W charging power and much more. The final unveiling will take place next week , on March 22nd.
