Realme GT Neo 5 comes with 240W Fast Charging
Realme GT Neo 5 confirmed to come with 240W Fast Charging Capacity. Earlier today, Realme introduced the world to its groundbreaking 240W charging mechanism, the first of its kind in the smartphone market. The manufacturer has just announced that the Realme GT Neo 5 is the first phone to have the new technology.
Although the phone is still a secret, several leaks have given us a solid indication of what to anticipate. Initial power comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Another GT Neo 5 with 150W charging may be on the way.
However, rumours have it that it will employ the Dimensity 8200. Regardless, the device will include a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (IMX890 sensor), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel secondary camera, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The recommended specifications for the 6.7″ screen are: “1.5K” (1,240 x 2,772 pixel) resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and high-frequency pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming (2,160Hz).

Furthermore, the phone will be equipped with at least 13 temperature sensors to monitor and stop the charging process if the temperature rises beyond safe limits. Furthermore, Realme claims that after 1,600 charges, 80% of the battery’s original capacity remains.
To provide 240W of power, Realme has already announced the charger that will be used. It’s just slightly bigger than the 150W adapter included in the Realme GT Neo3 (the phone’s predecessor), and it supports both 20V/12A and 10V/24A operation (150W).
Our testing showed that the GT Neo 3’s 4,500mAh battery could be fully charged in only 16 minutes when using the 150W fast charger. As of yet, neither the GT Neo 5’s battery capacity nor the time required to charge it fully has been revealed. Launching next month is the Realme GT Neo 5 with 240W charging.
