The Realme 12 Plus has been officially launched in India as planned. It comes alongside the Realme 12. Both phones support 5G and are positioned beneath the Realme 12 Pro series. Let’s disclose the specifications and pricing of the Realme 12+.
Realme 12+ 5G specifications
Last week, Realme announced the Plus model in Indonesia. It keeps a few features from the pro versions, such as an AMOLED screen, a camera with OIS, and a leather back.
Design and Display
The Realme 12 Plus has a flat frame design, unlike the Redalme 12 Pro models, so its display isn’t curved. Its screen measures 6.67 inches with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The punch-hole screen is centered and supports HDR10+ content, with a peak brightness level of up to 2000 nits.
Chipset, Operating System, and Storage
The device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chip. It couples with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, powers it up.
Camera
The rear has a triple camera setup: a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The front features a 16MP camera.
Battery, connectivity, and other features
The phone has an in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It can connect with dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and USB Type-C. It runs on a 5,000mAh battery and charges quickly with 67W wired charging.
Realme 12+ 5G pricing and color options
In India, the Realme 12 Plus costs:
- ₹20,999 (~$255) for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
- ₹21,999 (~$265) for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
