Recent reports uncovered that Poco’s upcoming phone, the Poco C61, received certification from platforms like India’s BIS and Bluetooth SIG. It also appeared in the Google Play Console database. The report says the Poco C61 will have two options: one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and another with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. In India, they’ll be priced at Rs 7,499 ($90) and Rs 8,499 ($102) respectively. The image above shows the black, blue, and green versions of the C61. The publication states that the Poco C61 will feature a 6.71-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels. It will offer a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Gorilla Glass 3 will protect the screen.
The Poco C61 will run on the Helio G36 chipset, with options of 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. It will also have a microSD card slot. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support through a USB-C port.
It will include a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack. There will be a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, it will feature an 8MP main camera and a 0.08-MP secondary camera also. The previous model, the C51, was announced in April last year, so it’s expected that the C61 might be unveiled in the upcoming month.
