Poco C40 officially release with JLQ Technology chipset. Poco C40 is expected to launch on June 16 but even though a week has passed since this announcement, the budget phone’s Vietnam branch released the specs earlier today.

It brings a 6.7-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 13MP main camera as well as a 6,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. The main characteristic of the new Poco F1 phone is its chipset. Instead of using Qualcomm, MediaTek or Unisoc chips, Poco F1 utilizes the JR510 SoC from JLQ Technology — a Shanghai-based semiconductor manufacturer.
The processor offers eight-core architecture with four cores working at 2.0GHz and four more at 1.5GHz supporting similar performance to Snapdragon 450 and Helio G35. The Poco C40 is available in black, yellow, and green colors. It also has a single 4GB RAM, 64GB storage trim. The nightly price in Vietnam comes at around VND 3,490,000 which equates to about $150 when open sales are scheduled for June 17th.
