Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G will launch in India on 18th January
The Chinese Tech giant Oppo announced the Oppo Reno5 series a few days ago. Today, Oppo decided to launch the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G in India on January 18, 2021, at a local time of 12:30 PM.
The Indian Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G borrows specs from its Chinese sibling which introduced last month. So, the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G will offer Dimensity 1000+ SoC, a 90Hz curved screen, and 65W charging. And we are expecting some of the other specs will remain the same as its global version. So, you can expect a 6.55″ FullHD+ AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will offer Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1, and a 4,350 mAh battery.
In the camera department, There will have a quad-camera setup ok the back. The formation is 64MP primary + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP depth + 2MP macro. There has a 32MP selfie shooter on the front.
The rest of the highlights confirmed by Oppo on the international Reno5 Pro 5G are AI Highlight Video, Ultra Night Video, and Live HDR.
Oppo doesn’t say anything about the Oppo Reno5 5G to launch in India. On the last edition of the Reno series, we saw only the Oppo Reno4 Pro in India. So, we are thinking that maybe Oppo will not launch the Reno5 5G in the Indian Sub-continent. However, the Reno5 5G has already been certified outside China, so its global rollout should begin soon.
