Oppo will host a launch event for its Reno 12 series smartphones on May 23. The series will initially include two devices: the Reno 12 and the Reno 12 Pro. A teaser video suggests the Reno 12 series may debut in silver.

Display
The OPPO Reno 12 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch display, keeping the curved screen design from the Reno 11, with 2772 × 1240 resolution, up to 1600 nits peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 12 could feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
Processor, RAM, and OS
Reno 12 Pro will run on the Diemnsity 9200 chipset and be paired up with 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. On the other hand, the vanilla one may feature Dimensity 8250 SoC and paired up with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage for the top-end one. Both of these devices will run on Android 14 with ColorOS 14.
Camera and Battery
The camera and battery features will remain the same on this duo. The camera setup will feature a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor and OIS. It will also have an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera, and a 50MP front camera. In the case of battery, there will be, a 5000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Additional features could include an IR blaster, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and an IP65-rated chassis.
