The smartphone makers are introducing their smartphones in 2021. Already Xiaomi and Samsung announced their smartphones. For some days we are hearing many rumors about the Oppo Find X3 series. The companies are introducing their new smartphones with unique camera bumps. Samsung’s Galaxy S21 family is starting the procession with its weird humps that ‘integrate’ into the metal frame. But it looks like other companies are willing to experiment too.
Case in point: Oppo Find X3 Pro. You can take a look for yourself and bask in the glory of the weirdness of the way the back material ‘rises’ into the hump, thanks to the newly leaked official-looking renders you can see below.
Display
Now let’s see the front of Oppo Find X3 Pro. There has a curved display on the front of Oppo Find X3 Pro. And the front-facing snapper is in a left-aligned hole-punch. Unlike that phone, its successor will have an adaptive refresh rate, from 10 Hz all the way up to 120 Hz (not just a binary 60/120 switch). The screen is a 6.7″ 1440p OLED panel.
Camera
On the back, it has a quad-camera setup. Among those four cameras, one is going to be a unique 25x zoom ‘microscope’ macro lens with a light ring around it (it’s the one just under the LED flash), alongside two as-of-yet unannounced 50 MP sensors from Sony (we’re assuming one for the main camera, the other going to the ultrawide). As for what the final shooter is – maybe a 2x/3x zoom cam? It’s weird to see zero periscopes here, especially since the Find X2 Pro had one, and other companies like Samsung and Huawei are doubling down on them.
Oppo said to put the feature of wireless charging on Oppo Find X3 Pro. We are expecting the launch of this device in May or April with Snapdragon 888.
