Now, let’s see some key specs of Oppo A55 5G.
Oppo A55 5G Specs
Display
Oppo A55 will sport a 6.5” LCD that has rather unimpressive HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The panel has a waterdrop notch with an 8MP f/2.0 camera nested inside.
Processor
This phone will powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. The Dimensity 700 chipset has its powerful Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2 GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 units clocked at 2GHz.
RAM & Storage
The Oppo A55 5G will have 6GB of RAM & 128GB of internal storage. There will have also an expandable micro-SD slot.
Camera
Oppo A55 5G sports an 8MP selfie camera on the display. On the rear panel, it will have three cameras- main 13MP with an f/2.2 lens and two 2MP f/2.4 auxiliary shooters – one for extra depth of portrait shots, the other for close-ups. Due to the chipset’s limitations, Oppo A55 5G records videos up to 1080p at 30fps, while slow-mo clips are capped at 720p.
Battery
The phone has big 5,000mAh battery that might not have any fast charging (just 5V/2A, which is 10W), but at least there is a USB-C port on the bottom, next to the 3.5mm audio jack.
The fingerprint scanner is on the side, inside the power key.
Pricing
The phone is already up for sale at Oppo’s own distribution channels across China, including major online retailers like Tmall and Suning. It costs CNY1,599, which is about $245/€200.
