OnePlus is slowly revealing information on the upcoming North CE 3 Lite, which will be introduced next week. The phone seems to be a significant improvement over the Nord CE 2 Lite. The Snapdragon 695, the same processor as its predecessor, is what will drive it. This is the new model’s only flaw. The chipset can support up to an additional 8GB of virtual memory and 128GB of storage. Up from a modest 64MP sensor with 0.7m pixels, the CE 3 Lite’s primary camera will have 108MP resolution and native functionality for 3x magnification.

There will be three cameras in total, but we don’t know anything about the other two modules just yet (the old CE Lite had only a pair of 2MP helpers). The front screen size increases to 6.72 inches with a 120 Hz refresh rate. OnePlus intends for this to be a gaming phone by including some software enhancements in OxygenOS 13.1.

The phone’s 5,000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging has already been reported (up from 33W). OnePlus claims a 30-minute charge would provide “one day’s power.” Both Pastel Lime and Chromatic Gray versions of the OnePlus North CE 3 Lite will be made available. Although OnePlus has not announced the price, the Nord CE 2 Lite was released last year for 20,000 (about £280 or €310).
