OnePlus is working with an upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen4 prototype
Some brands are trying out new smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. We’ll start seeing these phones in late 2024. Brands are not just testing fast chips; they’re also changing how their products look. Oneplus is focusing on design for the new Oneplus 13 this time.
OnePlus testing new prototype
Digital Chat Station says OnePlus is trying out a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 prototype. They might change how the phone looks. The tested prototype might not have the stainless steel hinge and circular design in the top left corner. We’re not sure if this is true. OnePlus might make changes to the new OnePlus 13. We’ll find out in the future if this information is true or not.
The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip is being compared to Apple’s M3 chip. People are interested to see what the 8 Gen 4 can do and if it’s better than the A16 chip in the iPhone 16 series. Some leaked results from Geekbench 6 suggest a good year for Android, but we need more time to be sure. Companies like Xiaomi are testing phones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. If everything is right, we can expect new and exciting Android phones. We are all excited for the last quarter of 2024.
