OnePlus 12R will feature an LTPO 4.0 Display And a 5,500mAh Battery
OnePlus is currently teasing the OnePlus 12R through an ongoing campaign. The company confirmed the phone’s design and hinted at its January 23 release via its Indian X account. The teaser described the 12R as ‘Smooth Beyond Belief.’
The recent teasers complement the previous information by unveiling a phone equipped with an LTPO 4.0 display. This display can smoothly handle various refresh rates, such as 72Hz and 90Hz.
OnePlus claims that the 12R features its largest phone battery yet, boasting a 5,500mAh capacity that is approximately 2% larger than the OnePlus 12.
The OnePlus 12R is set to launch with the OnePlus 12 on January 23. It features a 6.78-inch display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip from 2023, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The camera setup includes a 50MP IMX890 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro. This device may feature 100W charging also.
OnePlus announced that the OnePlus 12 series tackles industry challenges by optimizing performance, power consumption, heat dissipation, and longevity. A teaser revealed the OnePlus 12R’s colors as Iron Grey and Cool Blue, maintaining the design of its predecessor except for relocating the alert slider to the left edge.
