Oppo has launched the Oppo A59 in India. Does it wonder you? Yes, we know that this name is familiar to you. It is the second edition of this device, the first one was launched in 2016. But here it comes with a twist with no common specs on these two editions.
The new Oppo A59 features a 6.56-inch 720×1,612 LCD screen with a waterdrop notch and 90 Hz refresh rate, up to 720-nit peak brightness. On the camera option, you will get an 8MP selfie camera, a 13 MP rear camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6020 chipset and paired up with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It boasts a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. This device runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 on top, and is IP54 certified for dust and splash resistance.
On the other features and connectivity, you will get support for microSD cards, dual-SIM functionality, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers. Oppo proudly claims that the A59 completed its demanding 36-month fluency test, ensuring optimal performance for years to come.
The Oppo A59 is available in two colors Silk Gold and Starry Black. The 4GB/128GB variant costs INR 14,999, and the 6GB/128GB variant costs INR 16,999. Both models will be ready for purchase on December 25th through Oppo’s online store, Flipkart, and Amazon.
