Leaked Images Reveal Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Back Design: Familiar Yet Refined

Yesterday, an image leaked showing a part of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6‘s front. Today, we get the same treatment but for the back. Once again, we’re not shown the entire device for some reason, only a glimpse of the top side.

However, it’s enough to see the corner angles, which are highly reminiscent of Samsung’s latest Ultras in the Galaxy S series, and the camera island design, which is very typical of Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will feature vertically aligned cameras yet again. Unlike the company’s recent non-folding phones, there’s a small island connecting the cameras. It’s a similar design to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold5. But the oval-shaped island below the cameras seems to protrude less this time.

In other words, this will be instantly recognizable as a Samsung from the back. This brand recognition is an advantage but comes at the expense of sticking with a tried and tested design rather than something more daring.

The camera islands themselves should be bigger than on the Fold5, with new rings around them. That’s pretty much all that’s revealed in this image. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 is expected to become official in July at Samsung’s next Unpacked event, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Watch7 series, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Ring.
