iQOO Z9 Turbo leaked to launch this month

Xeng Ching, the product manager of iQOO Z-series, recently posted on Weibo, stating, “This month will be exciting.” She used the iQOO Z9 Turbo while making this post, confirming its name. This teaser hints that the iQOO Z9 Pro smartphone will likely launch in April.

iQOO Z9 Turbo to compete with Redmi Turbo 3 with the same chipset

The iQOO Z9 Turbo might run on the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, although it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. The Redmi Turbo 3 will also use the same chip, making it a direct competitor to the iQOO Z9 Turbo.

Reports suggest the iQOO Z9 Turbo will have a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It may also include an in-built fingerprint sensor for security.

The phone is expected to launch with two RAM options: 12 GB or 16 GB, both paired with 512 GB of storage. It’s likely to have a 6,000mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. In terms of cameras, it could feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Stay tuned for more updates from iQOO’s official channels.
