iPhone 15 to finally expected to come with USB-C in 2023. An analyst predicts that the iPhone 15 will be the first iPhone to adopt a Universal Connector port in place of Lightning, with the three cable bills at a total of €25.

My latest survey indicates that 2H23 new iPhone will abandon Lightning port and switch to USB-C port. USB-C could improve iPhone's transfer and charging speed in hardware designs, but the final spec details still depend on iOS support.

The USB-C port would have a broader range of connectivity options and faster charging. USB-C to Lightning cables cost just as much as those from Apple and other third party companies. However, Apple is speculated to be phasing out the Lightning port soon and replacing it with the universal USB-C port for all iPhone models.
