Infinix announced Smart 8 Pro, price is yet to be revealed
Last year, Infinix unveiled the Smart 8 in certain markets. However, just a couple of weeks ago, the recent launch in India featured upgrades such as the Helio G36 SoC, a 50MP camera, and XOS 13 built on Android 13 Go. The latest announcement from the brand introduces the Smart 8 Pro, essentially a version of the Indian Smart 8 with enhancements.
Infinix Smart 8 Pro Specifications
The Infinix Smart 8 Pro features a 6.6″ 90Hz HD+ LCD with a Dynamic Island-like Magic Ring and a punch hole for the selfie camera.
The Smart 8 is powered by a Helio G36 processor and paired with 4GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage with an extra memory card slot. It runs on Android 13 Go-based XOS 13 out of the box.
It features dual cameras on the back – a 50MP main sensor, an AI lens, and an LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.
A 5,000mAh battery with 10W Type-C charging support boasts it. Its feature lets you call people on WhatsApp without adding their numbers. However, this feature will arrive through an OTA. On the other features there are, USB-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and DTS sound processing with a 200% Super Volume boost.
This device will come in four colors- Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Galaxy White, and Rainbow Blue colors. The price is still unknown.
