Huawei rolling out EMUI 11 to P40, P40 Pro & Mate 30 Pro

One of the most reputed smartphone authorities Huawei is rolling out EMUI 11 stable Beta update on some phones. These phones are Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Huawei Ailesi put a screenshot on Reddit to indicate this update. This changing catalog is in the Turkish language but we can see some of the noted updates. These aren`t so important in that case to compare with what’s been available on the Beta.
There are noticeable changes on the subtle ones that further signify Huawei’s reliance on Android is switch to Huawei’s Harmony OS. For example, when you restart your phone you will see the “Powered by Android” word on display. But there isn`t the green logo of Android.
Another noticeable change is on the security patch level. It simply says “Security patch level” omitting the word ‘Android’.
Some Air gestures would have to see in the Mate 30 Pro for this update which was used already on the Huawei Mate 40 series. This update will bring also an EMUI theme named ‘Starry Night’.
The update comes with version number 11.0.0.151 and will take up around 1.1 GB of storage. It is expectable that it will be the last beta update Android for the HUAWEI`s smartphones for the ban issue of US on HUAWEI & its inability to secure a Google Services license. Also, it will be the first release of Harmony OS is expected to succeed. EMUI 11 lays the groundwork for some of the brand’s most popular smartphones to be updated to Huawei’s new Google-free OS.
