Google Pixel 9 renders leaked, check here the full description

Google launched the Pixel 8 the previous year. Now it is going to launch the Pixel 9 series. We have got renders of the standard variant of this series. Here we are introducing the Google Pixel 9!

Google Pixel 9 Leaked Render explained

Immediately noticeable is a key difference: the Pixel 9, unlike its predecessor, sports three rear cameras, including a periscope zoom lens. This significant enhancement aligns the ‘vanilla’ Pixel line more closely with the Pro version regarding specifications.

Furthermore, Google has adopted the ‘flat sides’ trend introduced by Apple. The curved design of the Pixel 8 has been replaced with a flatter, iPhone-like appearance. While we don’t have a strong preference for flat or curved frames, it’s worth noting that widespread conformity to the same design can become monotonous and unoriginal.

The camera island has changed, now oval-shaped and no longer overflowing into the frame. Unlike the Pixel 8, where only the camera housing was oval, the entire island in the new version is oval and nearly spans the phone’s width. It stops near the frame and appears to be made of metal, deviating slightly from past Pixel designs but still maintaining the unmistakable Pixel identity.

On the front, the flat frame is visible, and the screen bezels are perfectly symmetrical. In the top middle of the screen, there’s a single hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.

The Pixel 9 is anticipated to have dimensions of 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm, with the camera bump adding thickness to 12 mm. It’s slightly taller, wider, and slimmer compared to its predecessor. The device may feature a 6.1-inch screen, slightly smaller than the Pixel 8’s, with a potentially different aspect ratio. Although no other known details about the Pixel 9 exist at this point, leaks are likely to reveal more information as the official announcement is expected in around eight months.
