In November, Vivo introduced the X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in China, equipped with the potent Dimensity 9300 chip and a curved-edge OLED display. While the lineup currently includes these two devices, there have been rumors circulating about a more budget-friendly option, the Vivo X100s.
Today, Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station shared some alleged specs for the X100s. If the rumors become true, the X100s will feature a 6.78-inch BOE 8T OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a likely 120Hz refresh rate.
The X100s is expected to feature the same Dimensity 9300 chip. And a 5,000mAh battery, supporting fast charging at 120W or possibly 80W. In terms of the camera, rumors suggest a triple-lens setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP Sony IMX920 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. While details on the selfie camera are not yet available, it may inherit the X100’s 32MP selfie cam.
