Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro spotted on Geekbench and AnTuTu benchmark tests
Asus is set to reveal the ROG Phone 8 series of gaming phones in China on Jan. 16. Before the launch, the brand has officially confirmed the benchmark scores for the ROG Phone 8 Pro. Let’s check out the details provided by the brand.
The ROG Phone 8 Pro achieved an impressive 2,359,969 score on AnTuTu benchmarks, as reported by the brand. In the multi-core test on Geekbench, the device scored 7422 points.
The next ROG Phone 8 series will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and paired up with 16GB / 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB /1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The ROG Phone 8 Pro model may have a 6.78-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with FHD+ resolution. It also has a 165Hz refresh rate, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass Victus for up to 2,500 nits of brightness. A 5,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging boasts it. On the back, it features triple cameras – a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, a 13MP Ultra-wide lens, a 32MP telephoto camera, and an LED flash. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera.
The other features of the ROG Phone 8 Pro are Android 14, an IP68-rated chassis, a 5-magnet speaker, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an RGB-lit logo on the back panel.
