Apple will use own wireless chipset for iPhones in 2025. You may have heard that Apple is developing its cellular chip for a release in late 2024 or early 2025; the newest rumour suggests the same for the wireless chip responsible for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections.

Qualcomm’s cellular chips and Broadcom’s wireless chips are currently used by Apple. According to the source, Apple is considering merging the cellular chip with the wireless chip to release the first iPhones with an in-house wireless chip in 2025.
