Apple report reveals record-breaking 2021 holiday quarter. Apple published its financial report for first quarter of its 2022 fiscal yearthat covers the period from October to December. The report revealed records for sales, which increased by 11 percent to $123.95 billion and net profit which saw a 20 percent rise by 20% to $34.63 billion.

Every single one of Apple’s core product categories grew YoY: smartphones, Mac computers, wearables as well as home speakers and accessories, with just the iPads dipping slightly. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO explained that this record was achieved because of the company’s “most innovative lineup of products and services ever”.
The CEO also said that customers are working to remain connected more than ever before, and Apple will do everything it can in order to “build a better world” which includes the steps towards becoming carbon neutral by 2030.
