Recently, Oppo launched the Reno 11 series worldwide. But, rumors about the Reno 12 series are already circulating online. Tipster Digital Chat Station disclosed specifications for an upcoming smartphone without mentioning its name.
It might be the Oppo Reno 12 Pro
The leaked specs match earlier leaks about the Oppo Reno 12 Pro, hinting it could be the same device.
Display and design
According to the tipster, the smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch display, keeping the curved screen design from the Reno 11, with the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Chipset and Battery
Moreover, the device will run on the Diemnsity 9200 chipset and have a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support.
Camera
In terms of cameras, the leak indicates a 50MP front camera and a rear triple camera setup. The primary sensor will likely be 50 MP, and there will be a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
Previous leaks conflict with the recent one
Although the leak matches earlier information closely, there are minor differences, especially in charging specs. Earlier leaks suggested 67W charging for the Reno 12 Pro, whereas this one proposes 80W. However, since these are early details, it’s best to be cautious.
Furthermore, a prior leak suggests that the standard Oppo Reno 12 will feature a MediaTek MTK 24M processor, though the exact name remains unknown. It’s anticipated to have 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 256GB, with the same display specs as the Reno 12 Pro.
