Vivo V40 launched in Europe without charging adapter
Vivo V40 5G features an impressive 80W charging speed. However, the charging adapter isn’t included in the box. You must purchase it separately. After Apple removed chargers from their boxes, Samsung followed suit. Initially, Samsung’s flagship devices lost the charger, and later, the Galaxy A series did too.
Chinese manufacturers were initially hesitant to remove chargers. They usually dominate fast-charging technology and require proprietary chargers for high-speed standards. The Vivo V40 5G supports blazing-fast 80W charging but doesn’t come with a charging adapter in the box.
Vivo V40 5G shares specs with the Vivo S19, available in China. Both support 80W charging, but the Chinese variant includes the charger. The global version does not. Also, the base variant of the global version lacks a case (8GB+256GB), while the 12GB+512GB model includes one. The global variant has a 500 mAh lower battery capacity than the Chinese variant.
