Xiaomi 14 series ready to launch globally on 25 February
Xiaomi said it will release its top phones, the Xiaomi 14 series, in other countries this month. The phones will first show up globally on Sunday, February 25, in Barcelona. This is just before the Mobile World Congress, which begins the next day. The teasers suggest we might finally get to see the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
The teaser says we’ll see two phones: the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the smaller Xiaomi 14. Reports say the 14 Pro won’t be available outside China.
Xiaomi’s website hints at new camera technology. It might include a wider variable aperture for the main camera on the 14 Ultra. The 14 Ultra could have four 50MP cameras. Its main camera might use a Sony LYT-900 sensor with a faster f/1.6-f/4.0 variable aperture, better than the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s f/1.9 – f/4.0. Also, Xiaomi might release the Xiaomi Pad 7 Android tablet with the 14 series.
