As the OnePlus 12 release in China draws near, additional information about the upcoming Android flagship is surfacing. DigitalChatStation, a reliable source, posted on Weibo, highlighting the OP 12’s display and sharing real-life images featuring its BOE X1 display.
The OnePlus 12 will showcase a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO OLED screen, boasting a resolution of 1,440 x 3,168 px and a dynamic 1-120Hz refresh rate. The panel, crafted by BOE, achieved an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits in auto mode and 1,722 nits with the manual slider during regular usage.
The latest leak reveals that the OnePlus 12’s screen boasts an impressive Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) value of 0.35 and has received an A+ certification from DisplayMate, highlighting outstanding brightness and color accuracy.
The Oppo P1 display chip enhances the new screen, incorporating 2,160Hz PWM dimming for increased eye protection. The BOE-developed panel ensures better color accuracy through sunlight highlighting algorithms and single-pixel calibrating technology.
